Ever wondered why we give roses for Valentine's Day?!
Well it turns out there are a bunch of reasons... the main one being an expression of love especially in the traditional red rose which represents love, beauty and passion but pink is also a very popular choice these days and the meaning of the pink rose is grace and appreciation ( and we can all appreciate that!)
The receiving of roses dates back to when the Victorians would present bouquets to a love interest but moving on from that we now use these beautiful flowers in weddings, for anniversaries or birthday gifts and also they make the perfect 'I'm sorry' gesture!
The rose remains a timeless choice in whichever colour you choose or to whoever you choose to send your arrangement to making it the perfect way to show your feelings.
